More About the Name Change
In 2020 another congregation in Winthrop, Christian Community Church, merged with Central Assembly of God Church to form one church. We wanted to recognize and affirm what God is doing in bringing us together by renaming the church. This included a church wide process of prayer, conversation and a final decision at a recent church business meeting. We rejoice in what God is doing here and gladly announce that our new name is Central Community Church.
